The San Diego Padres, The Team of the Military, has produced 10,000 desert camouflage awareness wristbands bearing the phrase "For Those Who Serve" alongside the Padres "SD" logo. These bracelets will be introduced and go on sale at PETCO Park on Wednesday, April 20, the Padres Military Opening Night. Proceeds from this item will benefit San Diego Fisher House. The Fisher House is a home away from home for active and retired families of patients who have been admitted for medical care at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. The House is available to families who are coping with the medical crisis of a loved one and have no local accommodations. The Fisher Houses are a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers and donations for support. Individual wristbands will not be sold online and are available in packs of five (5) only.
